Goal: To provide support to parents as they work to "raise up their children in the way of the Lord" (Proverbs 22:6) with programs that reach out and present the Gospel to children so they may choose a personal relationship with Christ, teach children God's word and equip them to live out their faith in the family, community, and the world.
Nursery
Nursery care is a vital ministry of MVPC that is provided during worship services, Sunday School, and other special events as needed. This ministry enables adults to participate more fully in worship and classes, and it also serves as a vital introduction of young children to the family of God. Our goal is to provide caring, well trained staff who nurtures the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of babies and toddlers. A digital paging system for parents is available for parents. Our worship services can also be heard in the Nursery and Upper Fireside Room (across from the Sanctuary) for parents and nursing moms.
TODDLERS Play Time and Story Hour
After a summer of fun in the park, Toddler Time moves back to McKenzie Hall. Join us on Monday, September 21st for the launch of our fall quarter. Toddler Time is a weekly playgroup and story time for moms, caregivers and their children. We have lots of toys and activities to entertain the children and coffee and tea for the grown-ups to sip while they chat. Toddler Time meets every Monday from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. This is a drop-in program so come anytime between these hours. The cost is $1 per week. Children ages 0-5.
First Look

AGES: Preschool (3-5 years old) Toddler (in nursery)
On Sunday mornings our toddlers and preschoolers will be taking a “first look” of our faith through our new First Look program. A companion to Studio 252, First Look is designed just for younger learners. Children in our two classes will discover that God made them, that God loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Teachings are classroom based and incorporate a combination of hand’s on activities, story times, singing, and free play.
Studio 252

AGES: Kindergargen—5th Grade.
Designed especially for Elementary children, STUDIO 252 is not Sunday School, nor is it Kid’s Church, but a new cutting-edge combination of both. Through the use of both small group and large group settings, children will study Bible stories, learn Bible Verses, sing songs of worship, and learn how they can choose to follow God outside of the classroom. Every child, Kindergarten through 5th grade will be encouraged to bring their Bible with them every Sunday as we will be using them weekly. Weekly devotional materials and family enrichment materials are provided.
Club 252
DATES: Sunday Mornings
TIME: 9:00 am
AGES: Kindergarten—3rd Grade
REQUIREMENT: Attendance at Studio 252 at 10:30 am.
Club 252 is an optional enrichment class for children staying at church for both the 9:00 am and the 10:30 am worship service. In the club the children will be focusing on learning Bible Basics through game play.
Cast & Crew

AGES: 4th—5th Grades
REQUIREMENT: Attendance at Studio 252 and at monthly leadership training meetings.
Studio 252 Cast And Crew is a leadership training program for older elementary children. Children in the program can assist with leading both small group and large group components at either Studio 252 or First Look. Typically this includes assisting with worship moves, games, crafts and AV equipment. Children may serve up to 2 times per month. Monthly leadership meetings are held once a month on Fridays.
KIDSTIME LIVE
Visit Israel with KIDSTIME LIVE, Journey with Jesus
Get out your tour books and pack your camera. We are going to Israel to travel with Jesus through the cities where His ministry came alive! At KIDSTIME Live this quarter, children will be introduced to all the fascinating places where Jesus walked and lived, and as they discover His attitudes and actions, they'll begin to understand how they can follow Jesus in their daily lives. Kids will experience Jesus' life and ministry through fascinating Bible stories, high-energy games, creative art activities and meaningful worship time. Our aim is to have children grow in their knowledge and understanding of who Jesus is and how to live as His followers. We are always looking for kids to join us on your adventure, so bring your friends and neighbors too. KIDSTIME Live begins at 6:20 pm every Wednesday.
