Goal: To provide support to parents as they work to "raise up their children in the way of the Lord" (Proverbs 22:6) with programs that reach out and present the Gospel to children so they may choose a personal relationship with Christ, teach children God's word and equip them to live out their faith in the family, community, and the world.
Nursery
Nursery care is a vital ministry of MVPC that is provided during worship services, Sunday School, and other special events as needed. This ministry enables adults to participate more fully in worship and classes, and it also serves as a vital introduction of young children to the family of God. Our goal is to provide caring, well trained staff who nurtures the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of babies and toddlers. A digital paging system for parents is available for parents. Our worship services can also be heard in the Nursery and Upper Fireside Room (across from the Sanctuary) for parents and nursing moms.
BACKYARD Bible Clubs
During the month of July we will be focusing on reaching out to our local community children through the use of Backyard Bible Clubs. Backyard Bible Clubs is basically a smaller version of a traditional Vacation Bible School. This year’s program is High Seas Expedition, a week of swashbuckling adventure through the book of Acts! There will be skits, songs, games, snacks, and crafts for the children to partake in. With a trained intern staff, we will run three 2 hour a day clubs. Our aim is to reach 120 children this summer, so sign your kids up by July 1st, invite your friends and neighbors and make sure all are part of this great adventure.

Picnics in the Park
Marine View summer playdates! Picnics in the Park, Palisades Park from 11:00am to 1:00pm! Come meet up with Marine View Preschool and Toddler Time families this summer! Visit with your friends and make new connections while your kids enjoy playing in the sun. Mark your calendars now and drop in when it works in your schedule! Bring your own sack lunch and/or snacks. A few activities or games will be on hand. In case of rain... come at your own discretion.

First Look
DATES: Sunday Mornings
TIMES: 10:30 am
AGES: Preschool (3-5 years old)
On Sunday mornings our toddlers and preschoolers will be taking a “first look” of our faith through our new First Look program. A companion to Studio 252, First Look is designed just for younger learners. Children in our two classes will discover that God made them, that God loves them, and that Jesus wants to be their friend forever. Teachings are classroom based and incorporate a combination of hand’s on activities, story times, singing, and free play.
Studio 252 presents "Chase the Light"

AGES: Kindergargen—5th Grade.
We are excited to introduce to you our new summer curriculum series Chase the Light. Chase the Light will continue to provide our children here at Marine View a quality children’s ministry program on Sunday mornings while at the same time giving our school year teachers a break. Chase the Light will incorporate large group learning with small group break-out activities. Chase the Light will only be offered at the 10:30 service, so make sure to incorporate this hour into your weekly schedule.
Our summer staff is looking forward to learning with the children about the people that Jesus came in contact with and how their lives were changed forever. Each week, your child will learn about one of the “misfits” that Jesus met through both video and live storytelling. By the end of the series, we want the stories of the “misfits” that Jesus spent time with to have a marked impact on your child’s life:
JULY'S MISFITS: Nicodemus (John 3:1-21), Mary Magdalene (Mark 15-16), Disciples (Luke 24:13-35), Disciples (Acts 2)
Cast & Crew
MEETING DATES: First Friday of the Month
AGES: 4th—5th Grades
REQUIREMENT: Attendance at Studio 252 and at monthly leadership training meetings.
Studio 252 Cast And Crew is a leadership training program for older elementary children. Children in the program can assist with leading both small group and large group components at either Studio 252 or First Look. Typically this includes assisting with worship moves, games, crafts and AV equipment. Children may serve up to 2 times per month. Monthly leadership meetings are held once a month on Fridays.
