At Marine View we believe children matter. Marine View’s Children’s Ministry exists to serve children from birth through fifth grade and partner with parents to see growing faith in families by creating environments designed with children in mind.
From the nursery to our preschool, and from our early elementary age large group to our pre teens, we’ve worked hard to ensure that children have a place that meets their physical, spiritual and relational needs. Our environments help children experience the love of Jesus through our staff and volunteers, provide the opportunity to engage with age-specific Biblical content, and offer opportunities for both children and families to connect in meaningful relationships with one another.
As our staff point to Jesus and love on children, we believe families and children will be enabled, wherever they are in life and faith, to go deeper with Jesus and reach wider with his love.
Our Sunday Schedule
Nursery (birth - 5 years)
With infants and toddlers we begin to lay the foundation for a lifetime of faith as we provoke wonder and discovery in our great big God. The morning incorporates free play, guided play, and story time. The nursery is open all morning from 9 am to noon.
Preschool (ages 3 - 5 years)
We are excited to partner with parents in sharing God's love with preschoolers. In our Sunday morning experience, preschoolers learn through guided play stations and through class teaching times that God created them, God loves them and Jesus is their forever friend. Class is held every Sunday at 10:15 am.
Lower Elementary (Kindergarten - 3rd grade)
Faith development is crucial during the K-3rd grade years and we are passionate about sharing God's love with lower elementary-age children. During their time with us we will engage children in Bible study activities that aim to help children grow in faith, wisdom, and friendship with God and man. Classes are held every Sunday at 10:15 am.
Preteen (4th & 5th grades)
Our preteen service, or Studio 252, uses both large group and small group components to help 4th and 5th grade students begin to take the first steps of owning their own faith. We focus on helping students Know God, Grow in God and Show God. Our service includes fun games, worship, engaging teaching, and encourages open discussions about faith in a safe environment. Classes are held every Sunday at 10:15 am.
